Goodbye Copenhagen Apartment! -- Morning of 8/1/17

We had to say goodbye to our Copenhagen apartment this morning.  This is the 6th apartment we have rented in our overseas travels. It really makes you feel like part of a place to stay in an actual home, instead of in a hotel.  We usually try to rent apartments when we can.  On this trip, that was difficult, because we were only staying most places one or two nights.  We were able to stay in Copenhagen for three nights, so we were able to make it work.  It is so fascinating to me to see how people live in other countries.  The main reason for posting these pictures is for our family to have a good way to remember the details of the apartment.
Here is the front entryway, where you had to enter a code to access the apartment complex:

The kids liked to call these the "twisted steps" to get up to the apartment.  Luckily, we were on the second floor.

The three bedrooms...

This is the apartment home of three young guys just out of college, which is pretty impressive to me.  It is way different than most bachelor pads in America.  They rent the apartment out for the month of July, while most of them are on holiday.  We met one of them when we got the key to the apartment.  He was very gracious and gave us lots of good recommendations for dining options.  I will combine both days of Tallinn into one post.  It is time to prepare for our ferry to Helsinki, Finland!
